...and to my much unanticipated delight, I will have a total of three assignments due by the end of next week. School just never fails to shower me with due dates in such a way that I experience nothing except for sheer joy.
Ok, sarcastic mini-rant over. Moving on to the furry things in life.
Though it is much overdue, here is my New Year's Eve dinner outfit!
Jacket: Vintage // Dress, collar: H&M // Fitted top, boots: can't remember ^ ^; //
Bracelet: GUESS // Ring: Aldo Accessories // Dotted tights: Joe Fresh Style // Bag: Coach (Mom's)
Fur is fabulous, faux fur that is. It's absolutely cozy, injecting a fair amount of much needed warmth into a body that's clothed only in sheer tights and a lining-less dress. It also does a fine job of adding an instant punch of glamour for the days where you feel that your perfectly Canadian-climate-appropriate puffer jacket just doesn't do the job. And if there's an all-over leopard pattern? Even better.
Oh, how I was at a loss for ideas on New Year's Eve! Flawlessly party-fitting sequined tops nor dresses (nor any article of clothing for that matter) could not be located in any corner of the closet. However, a baby pink asymmetrical draped dress complimented by a flashy bejeweled collar (which was observed out of the corner of the eye beside a pile of bows) seemed to be a pretty satisfactory ensemble for a fancy night out.
And although it might not be easily discernible to the human eye, one should be able to pick out faint navy sequins on the gorgeous tweed bag borrowed from none other than one of the most fabulous women around.
Hope everyone had a great winter break!
I'm still adjusting my sleep schedule so that I can survive 4 - 7 hours of class on 5 - 6 hours of sleep, which would explain why I sound slightly less than enthusiastic in this post. Forgive me for that - I'll be better in about four months (Haha) =)
